The Buyers Guide To The Best Smart Watch
Before I start listing off the best smartwatches the market has to offer, I want you to really understand what makes the best smartwatch.
So to help guide you through your buying journey, here are a few things I look out for before buying a new smartwatch:
Price
Prices for smartwatches can massively vary depending on a few factors. This could be because of the brand name/model, or the features that are included with the smartwatch.
Battery Life
In our daily life, we're always looking for the next charging point, whether it's for our phones or our morning coffee. Adding another device to the list can be tricky, which is why long battery life is so sought after,
Charging
All devices charge in different ways, so make sure your smartwatch charges in a way that suits your needs. This can save you a lot of frustration in the long run.
Connections
Depending on which smartwatch you go for will depend on what connections you can use; this can range from Bluetooth to NFC or WiFi- to 3G connections.
Heart-Rate Monitoring
A heart rate monitor works hand in hand with the fitness tracker built-in to the smartwatch. It tracks the pulse around your wrist to give you an accurate reading.
Size
The size of your smartwatch is significant, you're going to be wearing the watch for a long time, so it's essential that the straps feel comfortable and the display isn't too big.
Water-Resistant
Smartwatches can be used to track a multitude of sporting activities, including swimming, and for this reason alone, I'm sure you can see the importance of having water-resistants.
Display
How a smartwatch displays all the information can make or break the smartwatch for you. You need to think, do you want the screen to display information continually?
Sleep Tracking
This is one of the features most loved by smartwatch enthusiasts. Sleep tracking helps you to identify the areas in which you can improve your sleeping habits.
Customizable
The beauty of some smartwatches is the ability to customize the watch. This means you can swap and change the straps or interface depending on what style you need for the day.
And Finally, voice commands:
It seems in today’s world everything is coming with voice control built-in, and it’s no different with smartwatches. If voice commands interest you, then it’s something worth checking out.

They’d been wearing an Apple watch for quite some time, but now they wanted something a little more stylish. In the few days of owning the watch, they were very pleased with it. Everything was easy to set up, and the instructions were clear to understand.
After first impressions, they were delighted with the watch. It felt great on the wrist and was so light you could hardly notice it at all. They loved being able to read texts and emails without reaching into there pockets all the time. Overall, it was worth every penny.

The new Gen 5 Fossil watch has a far superior battery life when compared to their earlier models. Not only that, but it looks pretty good as well. The problem is, it doesn’t feel as polished off as some off its rivals, which results in slower actions or late notifications.

I also felt that the Galaxy watch performed better at tracking things like your sleep pattern and daily fitness.
Another advantage was it’s the ability to track different styles of workout and detect training sessions. Overall it’s a great smartwatch, but it needs a little bit of work on the battery life.
